KS2 Intervention Teacher Position Available
Location: Birmingham
Duration: Full-time ongoing until end of the academic year
Salary: Pay to scale
The School/Role:
Join an innovative school in Birmingham, where we’re seeking a dynamic Intervention Teacher to make a real difference in the lives of KS2 students. As an Intervention Teacher, you’ll lead impactful sessions focusing on reading, writing, and numeracy skills, working closely with a supportive team to empower every student to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead interventions across the curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, and numeracy skills
- Create detailed support plans with the assistance of a teaching assistant
- Maintain a calm, friendly, and safe learning environment for all pupils
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in planning and delivering KS2 lessons
- Immediate availability
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Previous experience as a class teacher
- Recent school-based references
- Valid Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
- Full DBS – registered on the update service
