Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in KS1 is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular activities and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
