Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions to support students struggling with key subjects.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
- Adapt teaching materials to suit the needs of different learners, ensuring progress across all year groups.
- Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
- Support children with confidence-building and social skills, helping them engage fully in lessons.
- Maintain a nurturing and structured learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a TA, preferably with intervention or SEN support.
- Qualifications: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong understanding of literacy and numeracy strategies, with the ability to differentiate learning.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working with different age groups and adapting to individual learning needs.
- Passion for Education: A proactive and caring individual who wants to help students succeed.
