Job Description:
We seek a dedicated Humanities Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in history, geography, social studies, and literature to Key Stages 3 and 4 students. Your role will involve adapting teaching methods, fostering positive relationships, and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Experience in a PRU or with students with additional needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding young people.
Key Skills:
- Subject Expertise: Deep knowledge of history, geography, literature, and social studies.
- Classroom Management: Ability to create a positive learning environment and manage student behavior effectively.
- Lesson Planning: Skilled in designing engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Adaptability: Flexibility in teaching methods to meet the varied needs of students.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear instruction and feedback.
