The Career Opportunity

To assist in the implementation of our social media strategies and administering the company’s social media marketing and advertising campaigns.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Oversee the execution of company social media strategies and digital initiatives
  • Able to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
  • Management of all social media platforms (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
  • Produce video content as well as other digital flyers and posts
  • Develop web presence through news blogs and other online media
  • Supporting the business in preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes
  • Monitoring and analysing social media trends
  • Designing graphics for social media posts
  • Use of technology and creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts, and designs (CS6 preferred)
  • Generating drafts and mock-ups of proposed designs for colleagues to review and make revisions as requested
  • Maintaining client communication from project start to finish

Requirements & Essential Attributes

  • Understanding of SEO and how people use search engines and social media
  • Familiar with Hootsuite, WordPress, Photoshop and video editing software
  • Confident in producing video content with animation
  • Social Media and Marketing savvy with an invested interest in all social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong telephone skills.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be always reliable and punctual
  • Degree in Graphic Design or similar preferable
  • A portfolio with examples of design work
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Reviewing final work with internal colleagues and making final revisions or deliver the product to the client
  • Creating content, including text posts, video, and images for use on social media
  • Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
  • Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
