Graduate Primary Teacher

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Duration: Full time post ongoing

Salary: £154 – 196 per day (DOE)

We are recruiting for a primary school in Birmingham that are seeking a class teacher to work with them on a full-time basis to support the school as part of their career development. We are working with a school in Birmingham who are seeking a talented teacher to work on a full-time basis with a primary KS1 Class. This role will include managing the students, supporting and creating detailed lesson plans across all areas of the curriculum with support from an experienced teaching assistant.

Ensuring the success of their pupils is extremely important to the school, so the ideal candidate for this role will have experience within this field whilst also contributing through their desire and motivation to help the children achieve. This will include being an enthusiastic and committed member of an already excellent team of educators.

The school are passionate and proud of their inclusivity within the school particularly within their SEND support available at the school. Though this school is not a SEN Specialist school the role will include interaction with a variety of students with different levels of education including some with SEN. Whilst SEN experience is not a direct requirement, the ideal candidate must be able to provide a calm, friendly, and safe learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Experience as a class teacher
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – registered on the update service
