Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive the individualized support they need to excel academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one assistance to students with a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff to implement tailored education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies according to each student’s unique requirements.
- Work alongside teachers and other educational professionals to establish a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs or disabilities is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish strong connections with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine dedication to supporting the learning and development of all students.
