Role Overview:
We are seeking an outstanding Geography Teacher with excellent subject knowledge to teach at a highly regarded grammar school in Birmingham. This full-time position will involve teaching geography across Key Stages 3 to 5, helping students meet and exceed academic expectations. The role runs from December to July, covering the remainder of the academic year.
As a Teacher of Geography, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching geography to students across KS3 to KS5, delivering engaging lessons that promote a deep understanding of the subject.
- Using your strong subject knowledge to inspire students and challenge them to achieve their full potential.
- Assessing and providing feedback on student progress, preparing them for upcoming exams and academic success.
- Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school’s overall academic performance.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, ideally from KS3 to KS5 in a grammar or high-achieving school.
- Excellent subject knowledge with a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high academic standards.
- Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team, supporting both students and colleagues.
