Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our team at a school in Coventry. This role is focused on supporting the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will have the opportunity to create a vibrant and nurturing classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons for EYFS pupils, supporting early development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
- Observe and assess each child’s progress, tailoring activities to individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s growth both at school and home.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent EYFS provision across the school.
Requirements:
- QTS and experience in an Early Years setting.
- A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and development milestones.
- A passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Dedication to creating an inclusive and safe learning environment.
