Early Career Teacher – Aston

About the Opportunity:
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to launch your teaching career with diverse and rewarding experiences? In this role, you will support various needs such as absences, illnesses, and long-term cover, giving you the chance to gain valuable experience across different key stages (KS1, KS2) and teaching roles (PPA cover, intervention lessons). What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: A BA Hons, Master’s, or PGCE in Education, ideally with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent Experience: Recent and relevant teaching experience in UK primary schools.
- Availability: Full availability from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS or National Curriculum.
- Classroom Management: Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- SEND Experience: Experience or skills suited to working with SEND pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging lessons to whole classes or small groups (if applicable).
- Follow school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide marking and assessment support as required.
- Work closely with school staff and maintain regular communication with your consultant.
