Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Coordination: Lead and coordinate the EAL program, ensuring effective support and integration for EAL students across the school.
  • Student Assessment: Assess the language proficiency of EAL students and develop tailored support plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Support and Mentoring: Provide direct support to EAL students, helping them improve their English language skills and succeed academically.
  • Staff Training: Train and support teachers and support staff in effective strategies for working with EAL students.
  • Resource Development: Develop and implement resources and materials to support EAL students and teachers.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and report on the progress of EAL students, adjusting support plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
