Position: EAL Assistant

Balfor Recruitment is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a dedicated EAL Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Small Heath. Starting in September, this role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual who can support EAL students in achieving their full potential. This role will become permanent for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Student Learning: Assist EAL students in improving their English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Individualized Instruction: Provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of EAL students, helping them to integrate into mainstream classes.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with teachers and other staff to develop strategies and resources to support EAL students.
- Monitor Progress: Track and report on students’ progress, helping to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
- Promote Inclusion: Foster an inclusive environment that values and respects the diverse backgrounds of all students.
