Your Role:
As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will be instrumental in inspiring and educating students in the practical and theoretical aspects of DT. You’ll encourage students to explore, design, and create, leveraging your expertise to foster an environment of creativity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative DT lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to think critically and creatively through hands-on projects and collaborative learning experiences.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and capabilities of each student.
- Manage and maintain DT equipment and resources, ensuring a safe and tidy environment.
- Assess and record students’ progress, providing feedback and support to foster their skills and confidence.

Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Design & Technology.
- Degree in a relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching DT in a secondary school setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
