Job title: Residential Children’s Support Worker
Rate of pay: £9.90-£10.20 per hour + sleep in
Hours: 37.5 per week

Balfor recruitment are Social are looking to hire exceptional Children’s Support Worker’s to join our established client based in Birmingham.
This is a full time, permanent position. The home supports 3 young people and they are between 8-18 years of age and have learning Disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The shift pattern is 3 on 4 off, or 4 on 3 off – this will include sleep ins.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- To provide support in their daily lives.
- To develop their skills in team building.
- Leadership, and communication,
- Building confidence and supporting their goals for independent living.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6months experience as a support worker within the last 2 years.
- Experience working with Children in social care.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health a Social care or equivalent
- Driver
- Excellent communication skills.
