We are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager, Home Manager, Children’s home Manager to work in a 3 bed Therapeutic Learning disabilities service in Birmingham.

The service is a vibrant and modern service and has received an outstanding in their latest  Ofsted inspection.

Balfor is looking for an Experienced, dedicated and Strong Registered Manager to take responsibility for the daily running of a Children’s home.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Children’s Home Registered Manager
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People’s Pathway).
  • Great Communicator.
  • Full driving license.

We are looking for a Registered Manger who is dynamic and passionate about the care they provide.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for delivering childcare that is focuses on getting the best outcomes for each young person within the home.

You will have to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare, as well as organise and support staff.

This will involve supervisions, mentoring and annual appraisals of staff.

Organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focused training, recruitment of staff and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within the home.
