Balfor Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our vibrant SEN school in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with various emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to track student progress and share insights.
  • Engage in proactive behaviour management strategies to encourage positive behaviour.
  • Work in both group and one-to-one capacities.

Skills Needed:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support young learners.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN or educational setting.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential.
