Balfor Healthcare are currently seeking a Band 7 Specialist Health Visitor to join Birmingham Community NHS Trusts friendly team.
If you are a Health Visitor with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is a perfect opportunity for a new exciting role set within the vibrant city of Birmingham.
Whether you are looking for part time or full time, we can offer flexible working hours ranging from 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
This is currently the only Trust in the West Midlands whereby this role is set at the higher Band 7
Duties:
- Provide specialist clinical service for children and families requiring complex and additional needs
- Work together with colleagues within BFS service based within the HV teams
- Be the delegated named HV for children requiring support for universal plus and partnership plus agenda as well as contributing to the public health agenda
- Responsible for assessing complex health needs, providing public health promotion and illness prevention for their specific caseload of families who have complex needs meeting their holistic needs
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin
- 2 years minimum Health Visitor Experience
- Specialist knowledge of issues which are supportive of children requiring additional complex support
- Highly skilled and experienced health visitor who will act as an expert resource and source of support the team and wider health visiting service whilst maintaining a caseload
