Care Assistants
Care assistants provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to individuals who may be unable to care for themselves. They may work in a variety of settings such as nursing homes, group homes, assisted living facilities or in clients homes.
Their duties may include:
- Helping with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
- Assisting with mobility, such as transferring and positioning
- Helping with meals, including preparing and serving food, and feeding if necessary
- Assisting with medications and monitoring the patient's condition
- Light housekeeping, laundry and shopping.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Communicating with family members and healthcare professionals to report on the patient's condition and needs

Essential Requirements as a Care Assistant
- Minimum of 6 months NHS Experience
- Passion for care
- Right to Work in the UK
- DBS on the update Service
- Full immunisation report to show evidence of 2 x MMR, 3 x Hep B, Varicella and TB vaccines.
