The School/Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Birmingham, starting in September 2025. This role involves providing high-quality teaching across various year groups during teachers’ Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time on a temporary basis.
Key Duties
- Engaging Lessons: Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Lesson Plans: Follow lesson plans and schemes of work provided by class teachers.
- Positive Environment: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to class teachers.
- School Participation: Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in primary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

- Specialism in a subject or key stage
- Experience in a diverse and inclusive school environment
