The Role:
As Assistant Head Teacher, you will support the Head Teacher in leading the school, with a focus on curriculum development, staff training, and student progress. You will also work with parents, staff, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in strategic leadership and daily school management.
- Lead SEN curriculum development and ensure high-quality teaching.
- Support and mentor staff, monitoring student progress and IEPs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with families and agencies to meet student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in a SEN setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN and inclusive education.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
