Balfor Health and Social Care is seeking experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our dynamic team in Stroud, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with complex needs.

You will work with individuals who have diverse challenges such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide vital care in residential homes and supported living environments, empowering individuals to live their lives to the fullest with dignity and independence.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide compassionate care to individuals with complex needs, including mental health issues, autism, and learning disabilities.
  • Support individuals in residential settings and supported living accommodation, ensuring their well-being, safety, and comfort.
  • Play a pivotal role in promoting independence, encouraging positive behaviours, and supporting overall mental and emotional health.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 6 months of experience in supporting individuals with mental health, learning disabilities, or challenging behaviour.
  • A valid UK driver’s license (you must be able to drive).
  • MAPA training (if you don’t have this, we can provide it).
  • Strong competency in care, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for improving the lives of those you support.
