Your Responsibilities:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support to a child with severe special educational needs.
- Deescalate potential incidents by using calming strategies and reflective practices.
- Assist with personal care as needed, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Maintain consistency and routine, which are key to the child’s development and success.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement individualized plans.
