I am working with a fantastic, welcoming school that are seeking a passionate and resilient Swimming Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join their team. Your role will involve primarily teaching swimming lessons, with additional duties as a teaching assistant, helping students in whole-class, small-group, or one-on-one settings. Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- PECS and Makaton training/experience ideal
- SEMH, SEND needs experience
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent relevant references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service

The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced supporting children alongside children with a range of different academic attainment levels. It is essential that these students have a SEN Teaching Assistant to act as a positive role model as well as good academic knowledge to provide lesson support. This will require patience, commitment and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment.
