Job Title: Support Worker – Learning Disabilities & Mental Health

Hourly Pay: £13.86
Shifts: Full-time, Part-time, Waking Nights & Days
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We’re looking for compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join a dedicated care team in Exeter, supporting adults aged 19–60 with complex needs, including:
- Autism and ADHD
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Health Conditions
- Challenging Behaviour
You’ll be working across residential and supported living services, helping individuals live safely, independently, and meaningfully in their communities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting with personal care, medication, daily routines, and emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging independent living and life-skills development
- Engaging service users in activities such as walks, day trips, creative sessions, and more
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Occasional lone working (particularly during waking night shifts)
- Keeping accurate and professional care records and documentation
- Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a care or support role
- A calm, caring, and patient approach
- A full UK driving licence is highly desirable due to rural locations
- MAPA / PMVA training is a plus – we can provide this if required
- Must have the right to work in the UK
